The web that we see through Google, Duck Duck Go and other search engines only show what's on the surface. SPARK Nation wishes to offer a proposal for a new browser and search engine that would challenge the way we go about browsing the internet by combining the abilities of Google with the likes of Tor, I2P, Zeronet and other deep web tools.
We also wish to offer a token based search engine where, upon burning tokens, users would be capable of trawling through the clearnet and deep web simultaneously, while maintaining secure connection and enhancing privacy.
Core Concept
The search engine will operate on SPARK Nation's blockchain, where users will utilize tokens to conduct searches. This mechanism not only supports one aspect of the economic model for SPARK Nation, but also enhances privacy and security for its users. To add to this, there will be a set of cryptographic features, AI capabilities and token usage that will be gone over in detail.
Cryptographic Features
Token Burning: Users spend tokens to conduct searches, and these tokens are "burned" and removed from circulation. This process not only helps manage the token supply but also provides a layer of privacy, as the burning action anonymizes the transaction details.
Blockchain Security: The platform leverages blockchain technology to ensure that all transactions are secure and tamper-proof. Each token transaction is recorded on the blockchain's ledger, providing transparency and reducing the risk of fraud.
Encryption and Privacy Protocols: Advanced encryption methods protect user data and search queries, ensuring that sensitive information is secure from unauthorized access. Techniques such as Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKP) might be utilized to enable users to prove the legitimacy of their transactions without revealing underlying data, enhancing user privacy.
AI Capabilities
Automated Threat Detection: AI algorithms continuously monitor search activities to detect and respond to potential security threats in real-time. Machine learning models can identify unusual patterns that may indicate a security breach or malicious activity.
Content Analysis and Filtering: AI is used to analyze and filter the search results, ensuring relevance and accuracy. This involves sophisticated natural language processing (NLP) to understand and match user queries with the most relevant content, whether on the clearnet or deep web.
Risk Assessment: AI-driven systems assess the risk associated with accessing certain deep web sites or content. This feature would evaluate the safety of the links and advise users accordingly, potentially integrating user feedback and historical data to refine its risk models.
Search Optimization: Machine learning algorithms optimize the search process by learning from user behavior and preferences. This adaptive approach enhances the search engine's effectiveness over time, tailoring results more closely to individual user needs.
Usage of Tokens for Clearnet and Deep Web Access
Activation Point for Searches: The burned tokens act as a key or activation point that grants users the ability to conduct searches across both the clearnet and deep web. This dual capability ensures that users have broad access to information while maintaining security and privacy.
Economic and Functional Incentive: The token-burning mechanism also serves as an economic incentive, potentially increasing the value of the remaining tokens through its deflationary impact. This economic model encourages both the use of the search engine for its utility and investment in the platform's token for its potential appreciation.
Benefits
Privacy and Anonymity: The token-based mechanism ensures that users' search activities remain private and detached from their personal identity, as the transactions do not require personal financial information.
Security: By leveraging blockchain technology, each transaction (token burn) is recorded on a decentralized ledger, which is inherently resistant to tampering and fraud.
Economic Incentives: The use of a deflationary token model (where burning tokens reduces supply) could lead to an increase in token value, providing an incentive for users and investors.
Decentralization: The platform operates on a decentralized network, enhancing its resistance to censorship and central points of failure.
Our blockchain intends on using deep web tools to allow for a further decentralized platform, and will pave the way for the user-based and alliance forks that are outlined in our whitepaper.
Another feature that could be incorporated would be the verification of websites and platforms tied to real and legitimate business so as to reduce the amount of dead space that empty domains would take up.
Or better yet, making deep web discoveries that can be linked to SPARK Nation (in a secure manner).
To go over more in depth as to how our trawling token system will operate would go such as this:
You burn tokens on the search engine, and the system will allow for trawling through the various networks tied to the engine like Tor.
If you discover domains that are deep web oriented, a marker will be placed and AI will check to make sure that the domain discovered is safe to enter and it will be added to a list of accessible destinations. Rewards can be given based upon the domain that is discovered.
If a dangerous or hazardous domain is discovered, the AI will isolate the domain or link, and alert cybersecurity to determine what further action will be taken next. Rewards will be given based on how the domain or link is trawled through in full, with a bonus for discovering a potential security risk to the network.
Enough rewards garnered from trawling could reward users with a privately established node or domain location separate from the clear net, allowing for secure and private access for whoever wishes to establish their own location, incognito; paving the way for personal forks and alliance forks.
The overall goal for this application of SPARK Nation's browser is to allow for a more private, secure and easy to navigate web space separate from the clear net, while still providing fluid access between deep web space and clear net. There are, indeed, several hurdles that will have to be traversed, but the vision of a new kind of internet is strong with our platform's goals, and we will ensure that this is brought to our users in the near future.
When we have our own spaces on the web, free from centralized interference, will it be possible to pave the way for true innovation.
