One day, a goblin named Snargle pulled it out accidentally while reaching for a half-eaten pretzel.
“Oh cool,” Snargle said. “Can I be tax exempt now?”
The realms collapsed into war. Not because Snargle was evil — but because everyone else wanted the loyalty points tied to the sword’s warranty program.
The Sword of Dave now lies forgotten in a Crate & Barrel in Universe F-14, waiting for a new wielder… or a restock manager.
